My name is Byron Cox and I am an environmental science major from the city of Helotes, Texas. I’m currently a junior with a set graduation date of May 2023 and a desire to aid in city-wide conservation efforts. I often spend my time being with friends or doing volunteer work, though the best times are when I’m doing both! My goal is to do the most I can for the conservation field, and I look forward to a career someday doing just that.

This infographic was very pleasing to look at. I enjoy graphics that are easy to follow and look clean which this one had. The topic of Water Chlorination is an important one. We learn that through this process it helps our overall health and should be talked about more. The visuals on the graphic were straight forward and easy to understand. I hope to accomplish the same look in the Infographic we are about to submit.

I enjoyed this infographic by Bryon Cox. He did a great job starting with an interesting and appealing title to his audience. My first look at this article and thoughts were, “why is chlorine essential or even impactful?”. I am not informed on this topic, and he gave a great foundation not only by having a well-thought-out color scheme but as well including images that went along with the text. When discussing such a huge issue that affects our environment, it is quite challenging to put the most essential information on the infographic. It is important to make the information compelling and able to reach various individuals but also to gather the whole perspective on the topic. I learn something new every day and the importance of water chlorination for our environment as well as the awareness is imperative.

I appreciated the use of relevant stats, and the address of concerns as many people are apprehensive about ingesting chlorine. In addition, the potential benefits concerning the impact of chlorine for the COVID-19 virus/outbreak was also valuable to the infographic, particualrly since it a topic many individuals are familiar with.

Hey Byron I really enjoyed your infographic. It was very simple and to the point while remaining very informative. I was intrigued by the color choices you used in this infographic because when I think about chlorine for some reason my brain thinks blue for water and green for germs, therefore this was perfectly settling for that thought. Overall the layout is really nice and I learned new things such as chlorine being able to kill Covid-19.

As a kid, when I found out that there was Chlorine in our water, I couldn’t believe it! I’ve always hated the smell of public pools, and the fact it was in our water was outrageous. However, I later found out that it ensured that our drinking water was safe. Water is a necessity for our community, and if not clean, there could be severe consequences.
