Hello! The topic of bioinformatics in relation to DNA profiling or crime-solving is very interesting and effective in highlighting how modern technologies and computer-based analysis allow forensic scientists to use DNA to track or solve criminal cases. I thought that including the percentage of homicide and sexual assault cases that use DNA profiling was a very compelling piece of information that showcases the importance of this tactic. I think that including explanations for some of the key processes that are undertaken in relation to criminal cases, including how genetic material is obtained at a crime scene, and how a unique profile is created to match a criminal or solve a crime, would help strengthen your argument.
