My music video centers around the Civil War, taking place during one of the most turbulent and defining periods in American history. The video captures a conversation with a Union soldier reflecting on the cost of freedom, brotherhood, and the nation’s struggle over slavery and unity. Through the use of AI tools in research, image generation, and narration, this video brings to life the personal experiences and emotional weight of those who lived through the conflict, highlighting the divided perceptions of loyalty, justice, and sacrifice that shaped the era.

Lyrics and Song Development:

    • Utilizing ChatGPT, I crafted lyrics that captured the emotional weight, sacrifice, and divided spirit of the Civil War. I then used Suno AI to compose the melody and bring the song to life, blending somber tones with a sense of hope and reflection to match the historical theme.

Visual Creation:

    • To represent the story and emotion behind the song, I used Gemini to create visuals that depict the atmosphere of the Civil War fields of battle, soldiers, and the lingering cost of conflict.

Video Creation:

    • Using Runway AI, I transformed these visuals into a moving video that paired seamlessly with the music and lyrics, enhancing the storytelling experience.

Editing and Assembly:

    • Finally, I used CapCut to edit and refine the video, aligning visuals, transitions, and sound to create a powerful and cohesive final piece that honors the depth and emotion of the Civil War.
By combining ChatGPT, Suno AI, Gemini, Runway AI, and CapCut, I was able to create a powerful song that captures the emotion and struggle of the Civil War. Through thoughtful lyrics, evocative visuals, and cinematic storytelling, the project brings to life the voices of a divided nation, shedding light on the human cost of war and the enduring fight for freedom that defined this pivotal era in American history.
