This video project combines research and creative AI tools—including language models, video editing, AI-generated images, and music AI—to bring a dialogue between Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass to life. The podcast explores critical themes such as emancipation, civil rights, freedom, and abolition.
- Research and Script Creation: During the research phase, I used the large language model (LLM) ChatGPT to craft dialogue that would authentically reflect the historical perspectives of Lincoln and Douglass. The prompts were carefully designed to align with the podcast’s thematic focus.
- Image and Voice Generation: For visuals, DALL-E, a text-to-image model, generated the images seen in the video, capturing the essence of the era and the two figures. Using ElevenLabs, I created lifelike text-to-speech voices for Lincoln and Douglass, adding depth to their conversation.
- Music and Audio Composition: Suno AI, a music generator, provided the background score, setting an appropriate tone for the podcast and enhancing the listening experience.
- Editing and Assembly: I used DaVinci Resolve to bring together all elements—scripted dialogue, visuals, voices, and music—into a seamless final product, complete with transitions and effects.
This AI-driven project fosters creativity, allowing for a highly customizable approach with minimal restrictions, making it both an engaging and accessible way to explore and share historical content through video. It offers an immersive experience for viewers, bringing history to life in a format that is both informative and captivating.
