A Journey to Forgiveness: How do I be me?

Tags from the story

Jordan Robbins

Hi, I'm Jordan Robbins, a STMU Freshman! I was born and raised here but since I'm a military child I was also raised in the country towns of Germany (Kaiserslautern aka Ktown). After moving back to the states, I realized that things were a lot different than what I remember--mainly the people. I lived in a hotel for 3 months in Killeen before we finally found a home. After that, the hardest stages of growth hit my life through education, friends, communities and environments. But even through those hardships, I'm here and I'm striving. I want my infographics to reflect my growth and journey through all stages of my life and I hope you do see that!

Beautifully written and I feel like I’ve learned more about the mental issues that individuals face in silence. This is one of my favorite research topics seen at St. Mary’s. Great job!!

As your Auntie I am extremely proud to have you as my niece. The journey of learning ourselves and our self worth is sometimes hard but I’m glad to know that you have accomplished this task. You are indeed fearfully and wonderfully made. We are who and what God created us to be since HE knew us even in our mother’s wombs. If people would just accept themselves and others for who they are we would live in a much happier world. Love you always.

Thank you for sharing your journey experience, I feel a lot of young teens and adults feel the same way, but do not know how to express or get through these difficult and emotional moments, you’ve highlighted key points that are relevant to the world that we live in, thank you, I only wish this could be shared on a bigger platform.

Loved the pictures and intimate details of your journey. This helps others feel more comfortable and confident about themselves. Freedom is knowledge that you never needed acceptance to be you.
