Hello! I really like how the information shown in your infographic about carbohydrates can be viewed as a challenge to the misconception that consuming this food class may inherently lead to weight gain and poor health. Through this infographic, people can understand how important carbs are to fuel the body, while also giving people a different look at the distinction between “good carbs” and other kinds of “bad carbs.” I think that adding more studies/ facts supporting carbs being a big part of one’s everyday diet would help strengthen the rest of the argument. Maybe adding a graphic that shows what your average meal should look like, concerning the different food groups, and how much you should be eating of each one. Great work!

This infographic does a great job of challenging the common misconception that carbohydrates are inherently bad. I appreciated how clearly it explained the difference between simple and complex carbohydrates and emphasized the importance of balance and quality. As I entered my 30s, maintaining a healthy weight has become more challenging, so this information was especially helpful in making me more aware of what I’m putting into my body. I wish there were more infographics like this that educate people about health, diet, and fitness in an accessible way. Excellent job, Ivy.
