Hi! I’m Amaris Maldonado from San Antonio, Texas, and I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics at St. Mary’s University, where I plan to graduate in Spring 2027. I’m concentrating in data science and hope to do something in my career with artificial intelligence and how it can be used to improve medicine. At St. Mary’s, I serve as the President of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Campus Court and as a President’s Ambassador, assisting with university events and collaborations with the university president. I also work as a peer tutor, helping other students succeed academically.

Hello Amaris, I really enjoyed reading your infographic on how AI already has and will continue to improve healthcare. As someone who is very interested in how Personalized medicine can improve our healthcare system I found this infographic very informative and relevant in todays world. I really liked how you not only talked about how AI has already improved medicine today but on how it can continue to improve it in the future.

I really appreciated this infographic because it clearly connects genomics and artificial intelligence in a way that feels grounded in real healthcare impact rather than abstract technology. The explanation of how AI helps interpret massive amounts of genetic data made the value of personalized care feel very concrete and relevant. I especially liked how it showed applications across diagnosis, treatment planning, and drug development, which helped me see how these tools work together rather than in isolation. Overall, this infographic does a great job highlighting how data driven science is shaping the future of medicine in meaningful and human centered ways.
