    Hello Ms. Welsch
I think I have heard about this adaptation before in my basic biology so I really enjoyed getting to hear the actual science behind it. My original knowledge was simply that plants in dry climates close their leaves during the day to avoid water loss. But now I understand that the opening and closing of the Stomata would not be possible without CAM. CAM being a process which converts carbon dioxide that was absorbed at night into a storable energy source, organic acid. Then when the stomata close and the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is no longer accessible, the plant relies on the stored organic acid to be “decarboxylated” into usable carbon. It was all very easy to grasp from your well drawn diagrams of the process.

It is interesting to find how plants are able to adapt and evolve based on mainly their resources and capabilities in their environment. Plants who develop CAM qualities are able to continue to reproduce along with grow healthy and strong by conserving the water they do have. But what we don’t realize is how CAM develops on it’s own without any outside interference, other than a lack of resources.

I had no idea canti and succulents were CAM plants! I have always loved small succulents and canti, but never learned anything about their history. This infographic was very informative, and not only did it have great drawings, but it was also very easy to follow and loved how the stages were included even before reading more about CAM plants.

I liked this infographic because I think the pictures used to demonstrate the CAM function’s process were quite helpful in teaching someone like myself who had no prior knowledge of the technique and how plants evolved in order to develop this trait. This visual, in my opinion, was superbly done and presented the issue in a clear and effective manner. It was quite simple to understand and comprehend even for someone who does not generally study science. The design was also excellent, with remarkable attention to detail. Congratulations!

Adapting is important and necessary for everyone. Some have to adapt in order to live and survive the world. The world has changed and with that others have to be able to learn and find a way to live and survive. If they are not able to find a way to make a change where they could live it would have a negative impact on living organisms. It is necessary to find ways to keep earth healthy, to come together in order to make sure it could provide for everyone, and to make sure that we change our negative ways into positive ways for the future of humanity.

This infographic was fantastic! To be honest, I had no idea what CAM plants were or what they did, so being able to educate myself on this issue was fantastic! I liked how easy it was to read your infographic. It was extremely simple to understand and comprehend for someone who does not frequently study science. The design was also excellent, and the attention to detail is evident. Congratulations!

I liked this infographic because I felt that the photos used to describe the process of the CAM function are very helpful to teach someone like myself with no prior knowledge of the process and how the plants have evolved to do this feature. I thought this graphic was executed perfectly and taught the content in a clear and efficient manner.
