The title is well spoken, because it perfectly implies the severity and consequences for not taking depression in teens seriously. The information is clear and to the point, stating what depression is and the relevant statistic highlights how many people are affected by depression. I like the graphics used by the symptoms, since they are not too faux or distract from the main point. I like the inclusion of the diagnostic tools and the treatment options; this information can be helpful if not interesting and worthwhile as is.

Hello, Brianna This infographic is highly eye-catching. The way you organized the material and the pictures you included in each part was extremely nicely done. Similarly, although being brief (as infographics should normally be), it provides the essential and pertinent information on the issue of adolescent depression. I was unaware that Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy existed, even though it looked like a viable choice for treating depression. Another interesting statistic in your infographic is that women are more likely than males to experience depression, and I’d have loved to know why. Very fantastic work!

Hello Brianna, Your infographic is well done, and congratulations on winning the award for Spring 2022. I like the title being a way to prevent those who are experiencing depression. As we are in class creating our own infographic, this is definitely a well-done example to look up to. The visual appeal is there, mechanics, storyline, imagery, and overall message. I like the setup and feel that it has reached a huge audience of individuals who might be experiencing or know someone who is struggling with depression. This is an influential topic that needs to be discussed, and no one needs to be ashamed. I have learned something new, considering the diagnostic tool is good food for thought. Great job on your infographic and the topic itself.

I liked the cleanliness and information provided in this infographic. I think the message is something everyone needs to be aware of because depression is becoming more common in teens. I liked that there was some mention of how families can help their loved one. My only thing I would say to keep in mind is that neon teal in the background. It is very bright and almost was overwhelming.

Good theme and layout of the information, the color choice is a bit off putting to me, but I think it works given the topic. Lots of good information that gets to the point and isn’t too wordy. I hope that as medicine develops more we can get away with treating depression with medication as that can lead to more serious issues later in life.

I really like the colors used for this infographic, they give off a sense of care and calmness, which can be helpful for those reading it. The lay-out and flow make it easily accessible and legible, which is sure to grab the attention of those who wish to learn from it. Including the treatment is helpful as it destigmatizes some of the ways people can get help, that have been seen as controversial, such as medication.

I love how neat and concise this infographic is. I enjoyed the information provided because depression is not discussed enough. The author provided many important details about how to go about depression. I would suggest perhaps a more neutral color story to go along with the theme of mental health.
