This article does a really good job at giving the readers an insight on Amanda Knox’s case. It shows there are many sides of the story, but they all have a different viewpoint. It’s crazy to see that sometimes cases like these just go under the rug because police either don’t care about justice or they just want it over with. It’s also sad to see that Amanda still faced some time in prison and people will continue to judge her.

It is so frustrating to see how people can be accused of crimes they did not commit. It shows that the evidence collected during the first 24-48hrs of the case is so important and can really impact the outcome of the whole case. Knox was in a foreign country and did not speak the language fluently, making it harder to defend herself and prove that she was innocent, alongside with the difference in laws. I am glad she got acquitted and could continue her life and is even has her own podcast to talk about stories similar to hers.

I could not believe that the court had used character evidence to try and convict Amanda Knox! They humiliated her, invaded her personal life, and made lies. She was innocent and they found nothing on her, so they took a username ‘Foxy-Knoxy’ and made a conspiracy lye that healed no water. It was obviously made up and there was no way she was addicted to sex! How could the prosecutors act so horribly making up string lies and doing anything to humiliate her? I also can’t believe how the police treated her so badly and tricked her into signing papers she could not understand.

This was such an unfortunate story, but a great article to read. Amanda Knox’s story should be heard by everyone because I think this case is a perfect example of how media can influence the verdict of a case. The media was overwhelming in this case and the world was fascinated with her “Story”. Knox was wrongly convicted due to the influence in the media and in my opinion, blurred what was accurate and what wasn’t in this case concerning evidence.

It is so unfortunate that Knox was wrongfully convicted in a foreign country where she could not really defend herself. The most critical time of collecting evidence is in the first 24-48 hours. The media can also play a huge role in convicting people. This case had lots of media attention the made it hard to not convict her even though she was innocent. Justice can be affected the media and the view and pressure they give the rest of the world.

This article does a perfect job with comparing how different countries handle these types of cases. It shows the struggles Knox had to go through with the language barrier and her being trapped and manipulated into a fake confession and wrongfully convicting her with murder. It goes into details with the time frames as well for the different trials she had to experience. Overall, this article is just another example of the corrupt injustices that happen in cases. Well written article.

It’s always so disappointing when someone is convicted of a crime they didn’t commit. It’s also disappointing and frustrating when they lied about her signing the paper of the confession. It was wrong for them to not only mistreat her physically, but also to lie about what she was signing. They should’ve gotten some type of punishment for that. This was a great article. It was very detailed and explained very well.

This article did a great job at providing the details of the case and how everything went into play. I feel ad for Knox as she had signed a paper saying she committed the crime, when in reality she thought she was signing something else and didn’t comprehend what she was signing due to the language barrier. As important as forensics is in a case, I was surprised that the results were inaccurate and there were errors made several times. Overall, this article was a very interesting read and I will be sure to look into the Netflix documentary as well as her podcast.

It’s awful knowing there are innocent people being wrongfully convicted. What makes this story even more interesting was how it was in a different country. I believe this also displays how powerful media can be when it comes to cases like this since it’ll persuade people to stand on one side or the other. This article was not only written so well, but it can and has shed so much light on how unfair the justice system can truly be.

Facing this type of nightmare does happen in foreign countries, especially when their laws are completely different. From the very beginning you can see why Italian police suspected Amanda Knox as a suspect. As she arrived to her dorm room, she looked around and realized that a crime had occurred there. She then went back to her boyfriend’s place but why didn’t she call police officers right then and there? or security if there was security on the grounds? and Why would she try to say that her boss was the murderer of her friend? You never expect something like this to happen while studying abroad but that doesn’t mean that it can’t happen. The pressure put on Amanda Knox in interrogation was intimidating since there was a language barrier, as for the techniques used in this case should be denied in trial. While being interrogated by the authorities, she signed a document that was written in Italian and although she didn’t’ understand the language, she still signed the document which shouldn’t have been done.
