Great infographic, it is so important to emphasize on the fact that all people are involved with mental health even if it is not due to sickness or issues. I think when people hear mental health they immediately think of mental illness when that is not always the case. There are so many aspects that do not have to necessarily mean negative mental health rather there are positive effects on many people. Also that we humans are so grateful to be able to experience.

It’s an interesting infographic with lots of great information. This is especially relevant to the community surrounding St. Mary’s University, mainly due to the Hispanic community’s attitude surrounding mental health and suicide prevention. Destroying the stigma behind mental illness is crucial, and this infographic details that. The graphs have exciting data, and the prevention section is great for those in need. Congrats on your nomination!

Wow! This has been one of the most interesting yet on-point articles that I’ve read so far. I like the way you have your template as well as the demographics and all the information established. We’ve always known mental health is a big concept that not many people think it’s really and that is sad. Many young Hispanic teenagers don’t know their mental health is low because in their households it is something “weak”. I’m glad you talk about this topic because not many people do and many need to read, listen, and know that it’s not just some joke.

A very well-done infographic. I really like how you touched up on the way Hispanics think. When you mention the part that Hispanics avoid help because they think depression is a weakness you really hit the point. I like how your infographic also shows collected data that goes to support your infographic about the Hispanic population and the suicide rates within the community.

Hello Paola! To start off this Infograph is very well organized and eye catching. The information is put in a way that is easy for the reader to understand and capture the information. It’s very interesting getting more knowledge about the topic of mental health and the stigma surrounding it in Hispanic families since I myself have seen it first hand. Great work!

I love how this pleasing to the eye this infographic is! This topic is very important to raise awareness on. I am not hispanic, but my culture also has the same issue of not understanding or addressing mental illness. Your solutions are really interesting as well. It is sad to know that the suicide rate on Hispanics is really high due to their lack of education and comprehension of mental illness. However, great job and congratulations on being nominated!!
