Sophia Castillon

I’m a first-year biology major at St. Mary’s University with a strong interest in how living systems work at the molecular level. I’m excited to learn through hands-on lab work and working with others. My goal is to be part of research that helps us better understand biology and makes a positive impact on people’s lives. Beyond academics, I am someone who values close connections with my family and finds joy in spending meaningful time with them. Their support fuels my curiosity and determination, both inside and outside the classroom. I look forward to growing as a scientist and community member throughout my undergraduate journey and beyond.
