I envisioned a sound that blended modern energy with cultural roots, paired with colorful, dynamic visuals to convey the sense of community and celebration that has defined these events for generations.
- To craft lyrics that resonated with the tradition of Oyster Bake, I used Suno AI to generate initial drafts, focusing on themes of heritage, music, and the unique “St. Mary’s spirit.” To ensure the historical narrative was accurate—spanning from the event’s humble beginnings in 1916 to the massive celebration it is today—I cross-referenced details with Gemini. This allowed me to refine the lyrics, ensuring they were both catchy and historically grounded in the evolution of Fiesta.
- To bring the “Fiesta” aesthetic to life, I utilized DALL-E 3 to generate vivid, stylized images. I focused on capturing the essence of the event: the glowing lights of the Pecan Grove, the colorful appeal, and the shared excitement of the crowds. By fine-tuning my prompts, I was able to create a consistent visual language that felt both nostalgic and modern.
- The final phase involved bringing these elements together in DaVinci Resolve. I used the software to synchronize the fast-paced rhythm of the music with the generated visuals, using precise cuts and transitions to mirror the energy of a live festival. I paid close attention to the timing of the “Fiesta” highlights to ensure a cohesive and immersive experience.
