Samantha Aragon

I am an undergraduate student from El Paso, Texas. Upon graduation in spring 2025, I will obtain a B.S. in Biochemistry with minors in Applied Mathematics and Business Administration. For the past two years, I have worked with Dr. Erendra Manandhar at St.Mary's on supramolecular organic/inorganic chemical synthesis. I am also continuing 2023 summer research with The Mathematics Climate Research Network (MCRN) under the guidance of Dr. James Broda from Washington & Lee University. I am a current U-RISE trainee, and my goal is to earn a Ph.D. to work in the industrial field in R&D. I am the secretary for St. Mary's Society of Mathematicians (Math Club), and the current Vice President of The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS). I am also a member of St. Mary's Concert Choir and Ready, SET, Research!
