Wow, this evolution of diets was so interesting to me! The way you broke down the timeline made it easy to see how nutrition has evolved. The way society has packaged “healthy” diets to get to their desired body type is very interesting, and something you still see today. This infographic has opened my eyes, seeing that weight loss is on everyone’s minds now, as it has been in the past. Great job.

Hello Sally! Dietary health is one of those things that has always seemed illusive and enigmatic to me. My parents have gone through all the trendy diets, so I grew up around this. The part where you mentioned that “long-term health depends more on diet quality and sustainability than strict macronutrient rules” is something I’ve been trying to say for a while now! But until I saw this infographic I didn’t have the vocabulary for it. Amazing work!
Your infographic is very organized and easy to follow how diet trends have changed again and again in the United States. I was so surprised to learn that U.S. has repeated many cycles of trial and error in diet trends and how we have got to current trend. My article focused on unequal achievement of development within India, so I think it is important to truck the process of trend changes.

It is fascinating to see the evolution of diets over the years. I found it to be interesting that the belief in the 1970s was to replace fat with refined carbs and added sugars as a method to reduce the risk of heart disease. Now, we find ourselves fasting, doing the Keto diet, etc., in order to maintain a healthy weight. I found your infographic to be extremely interesting, and the amount of information provided reflects on the time and effort you put into it. Great job Sally, you always do such an amazing job!
