Featuring Scholarly Research, Writing, and Media at St. Mary's University

For my D-Day project, I created an AI-assisted music video about the American soldiers storming the beach at Normandy. I wanted to capture how intense and heroic that moment was with strong music and visuals that honor their bravery and sacrifice.

  1. Music and Lyric Development: I started by using Suno AI to make the song and come up with the lyrics. I kept tweaking the style until it had that big, emotional, cinematic feel that fits the D-Day invasion.
  2. Image Creation: For the visuals, I used Grok Imagine to generate the images. I wrote prompts describing the soldiers landing on the beach, all the action and chaos, and the whole Normandy scene so they would look real and hit hard.
  3. Editing and Assembly: In the end, I used DaVinci Resolve to combine everything. I synced the music with the images, added some transitions, and put together the full video.

Using Suno AI, Grok Imagine, and DaVinci Resolve really helped me bring this idea to life. I’m glad with how it turned out and I think it does a solid job paying respect to the courage of those American soldiers on D-Day.
