Felicia Cruz has worked in higher education since 2012. As an instructional designer in Academic Technology Services at St. Mary’s University, she was primarily responsible for the conversion of two graduate academic certificates and three graduate master’s programs to the online format. In her current role as the Director of Online Learning & Curriculum Innovation, she provides leadership, management, and direction in the development and support of online learning programs and curriculum initiatives across the University academic community in support of the University’s mission and goals. Felicia has a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology and a M.A. in Industrial Organizational Psychology from St. Mary’s University. She recently received her doctoral degree in Learning Technologies from the University of North Texas. Her research interests include the digital divide, achievement gaps in online education, professional development for faculty, Hispanic Serving Institutions, and online student readiness.
