Fourteen Points
Woodrow Wilson
Briana Bustamante
I really enjoyed reading your article! I remember learning about the Fourteen Points back in High School, so it was nice to revisit this. I admire President Wilson for understanding the “importance of being behind what the American people believed, but also strong enough to lead the nation using his own judgment, and not be a push-over.” Over all I really enjoyed reading your article, and it was very informative as to how you explained Wilson’s points.

Hello Cameron, I really appreciated the lay out of your story by how you first informed s about who president Wilson was as I feel this helped to understand the essence of the 14 points. The various points can be said to form the basis of what the world is today to some extent with the United nations obviously been the most enduring legacy of the 14 points. Even though Wilson’s various points were ignored by congress and other world powers it is evident he was a man who was ahead of his time as shown by his ideas on an ideal world.

This was a really interesting article! I like that you took the time to fully explain each of Wilson’s fourteen points. It’s also crazy to think about how Wilson got a bunch of other states to join the League of Nations but he couldn’t get the United States to sign onto it, it must have seemed like a joke to the rest of the world. I do like his points though and it shows his ability to create great policies. Thank you for the article.

Great research on your article. It was beneficial that the League of Nations was created because of Wilson’s Fourteen points. Wilson’s intention to end the war was something I feel that was needed the most. Even though not all points may have been acknowledged, it is still great that Wilson took the initiative to lay out these points. I enjoyed reading this article and I could tell you put a lot of detail and research into it. Good job!

Great job! Your article was very informative and well-written. After reading this, I gained a greater respect for Wilson and his attempt to form world peace. After the large amounts of deaths and conflicts in World War 1, the world really needed someone to provide a framework, or the 14 points, that encourages cooperation and peace. Although, Wilson was not successful and several countries did not approve, I think the 14 Points was a huge step towards peace. Thank you for the interesting read!

The format of your essay suits the topic well because you divided the points to further explain their association to the Great War, I liked that it was pretty neat. Also, I’m glad you chose this topic because Wilson Woodrow was, like you said one of Americas greatest presidents and the Fourteen Points goes to prove his ability in policy making and call for good judgement. Great article!

Great article. Your article was very informative and well written. It was great to read an article about the fourteen-point plan after hearing about it in class. I liked how the author organized the article and broke up the points and explained the different sections. It’s sad that Wilson had a vision of world peace but his own country wouldn’t back him on his vision.

Really interesting article! I really enjoyed how you wrote it, and took the time to explain each of Wilson’s points. I find it ironic that the idea of the League of Nations was sold to other countries, but not to our own, when Wilson was the one to bring up the idea. I think his points made sense, and were used, or meant for a fair and the overall good of all countries.
