We would like to extend our gratitude to Dr. Shackleford for teaching about Mitochondrial Protein Import and getting us on track to for this project. We have learned a lot in your class and started our interest in this subject. This new insight that you passed on in your class made this research project fun and entertaining. This allowed us to apply what we learned in class and how it actually applies to relief scenarios, in this case Leigh Syndrome.
