The design of this infographic was very well executed. I also loved the inclusion of the QR code that acted like a call to action for the reader on such an important topic that affects everyone. The statistics and information really do influence the reader to look into that call to action.
This is a great infographic with helpful imagery and color scheme, and the title is perfect when speaking on this topic.
“42% of rivers and streams in Texas do not meet the applicable water quality standards and are treated as areas of pollution is a significant amount.” I am surprised at this number as individuals take for granted the water we have and the water is not up to good standards. The QR code is helpful as it alleviates crowded and unappealing texts that can lose the reader’s attention. We have a simple theme and a great topic!
Congratulations on your nomination. I enjoyed viewing your piece as I know it took a lot of work and revising to make it to this stage. I like the informative aspect yet overall appearance. Your stats were informative and did help to simplify some overarching concepts. I did not know how much bacteria is in our water and pollutes the air as well as what can interfere with our river. Overall, great job!
As a classmate this was one of my favorite ones to read as I loved the design and the style of how the I for graphic looked it is nice to see everyone’s ideas come to life! Great Job
The title was well articulated and on point for the intended audience. The fact that 42% of rivers and streams in Texas do not meet the applicable water quality standards and are treated as areas of pollution is a significant amount. This amounts for almost most of the water in Texas! I like adding the QR code and the link for more information on the issue and ways for the public to help.
With the damage we have done it is hard to help and overcome it, but it is not impossible. With what we have and how much we have adapted we can make a change and come together for our voices to be heard in order to make our world a place that is once again a place to live and a place that is health for everyone.
I Love this Infographic. i think something that is important to take note of is how we really need something to catch our eye to pay attention sometimes and this infographic is so inviting and pretty to look at. I think you all did a great job on talking about what matters and something fresh to see. Water is so important and we need it to survive but we can take it for granted and so thats why i think it was a perfect topic. overall Great job!!
It’s close to home to be able to read this article and learn the figures behind San Antonio’s water restoration. The infographic did an excellent job of demonstrating how San Antonio’s water restoration has lagged and how we might assist. I also liked that the QR code was there for us to use. Instead of identifying the organizations, it was a very straightforward and effective technique. The visuals and color scheme were also excellent and extremely appropriate for the theme. Congratulations.
I think this graphic did an excellent job of introducing a subject that not many people are familiar with. I was astonished to learn some of the stuff that was occurring in my own area when I read this. Having said that, I thought that this infographic was excellent since it was on topic, educational, and provided a quick and easy method to engage in civic life.
This infographic is exceptionally well set up and does a great job showcasing the effects of water restoration. The color pallet does well with matching the theme and is palatable to read even with those who are hard of sight. Make me want to improve my lifestyle with this activity and help the community through water restoration. Greatly made infographic!
