The information given is a very important subject matter. I loved the cycle that you added in the infographic showing what happens with food insecurity. My favorite part was that you added information regarding bexar county. It was nice to see data from the county I live in. The overall visual appeal of the infographic was great. Amazing job on everything!

Hello! Great infographic, I liked the topic that your chose. This relates to Civic Engagement becasue in order for us to be able to provide food for our families, it requires the help of our community to ensure that every individual had a job and has food to leave on the table. Something I liked is the layout of this infographic and something that I would have done different is that at the beginning, there was too much text and it was distracting me.

I think your graphic addresses a tough problem in a graceful way. The cycle of hunger chart displays it clearly. It’s sad that this issue is so prevalent in our country, but it’s good that there’s assistance programs out there to help. I like that you included those. I think the color schemes of your graphic go well together and it’s presented in a nice manner.

Huge congratulations on this nomination! The effects of food insecurity on people throughout the course of their lives are very well described in this infographic. I think this infographic is fantastic because it does a wonderful job of explaining food insecurity and goes out of its way to explain to the audience what they can do to help solve the problem.

This was so informative and well done. The information flowed nicely, especially the graph about the Cycle of Hunger. I love how your second graph demonstrated a snapshot of the percentage of people with food insecurities in San Antonio. Thank you for including the colorful logos of outreach programs for everyone. The links were an excellent touch on how we can help donate.

Food insecurity is an issue that affects so many people around the world, it could easily be seen as an unsolvable issue at that scale, however by making it a localized issue you not only make it much more manageable, but you could also be setting a standard for which others could seek to solve this issue in their communities.

Hi, I really enjoyed this infographic as it stresses food insecurity and hunger. It is easy to forget problems like this exist if we are not experiencing it or seeing it. The information and matching pictures flow nicely making it easy to understand.I have grown up volunteering for a local food pantry and have seen first hand how these individuals appreciate these programs.

I thank you for food and security is an issue that is extremely prevalent in present-day America, especially after COVID-19. To form the masses of this issue is crucial, and I feel your infographic has done just that in a clear and concise manner

I love the awareness this infographic brought to me. Knowing that the pandemic affected millions of people around the world and here in San Antonio are ways that we can take note of and help. People in hunger do not necessarily have the means to provide for themselves or their families. We can start by raising awareness and even sharing with the public using flyers, protests, campaigns, or promoting organizations that serve food for people in need for food. The necessity of food is immense, and many are prone to not receiving it whether they lack an education, are not working, are homeless, or are on low income. Many needs food to survive but also note that the right food being consumed is the one that will lead us to being healthy. Thank you for sharing this information it was very informative.
