For this project on the Cold War, I chose to create a dark melancholic video that captured the rough times during this war. I focused on picking a melancholic ballad with some visuals that represented what it was like for those living during the Cold War and what was happening around them to convey the sorrowful mood that coursed its way through Germany during this period.

Script and Lyric Development: To create lyrics that best suited the melancholic ballad genre and convey the depth of the meaning, I used ChatGPT to come up with historically accurate lyrics. In doing this I used a very detailed description of what I wanted added into the lyrics.

Audio and Music Composition: I used Suno AI to create the early drafts of what the song would sound like and continued to work through it to get exactly what I was looking for. I used this accessory because it closely used the exact tone that created an emotional impact I was looking for.

Image Creation: When creating my images, I used Google Gemini. In my descriptions I used the main events that my song pinpointed and described them very closely so that there was little error, I also found that using “historically accurate” created the images to be more closely correct than broadly generated.

Editing and Assembly: To finish my creation I used DaVinci Resolve to synchronize my visuals and sound together, which brought my final product to be close to perfect.
Using AI tools such as, ChatGPT, Suno AI, Google Gemini, and DaVinci Resolve, I was able to produce an AI music video that conveyed the devastating events during the Cold War.
