For my project on the soldiers who fought during D‑Day, I set out to create a powerful and emotional music video that captured the intensity, fear, and bravery of one of World War II’s most pivotal moments. My goal was to blend music, imagery, and storytelling to honor the soldiers’ experiences while using modern AI tools to bring the historical scene to life.
  1. Lyric Development – To craft lyrics that reflected the courage and hardship of the soldiers landing on the beaches of Normandy, I used ChatGPT to generate initial drafts. I shaped the lyrics to convey the tension of the invasion, the uncertainty of survival, and the determination that defined D‑Day. The AI‑generated lines helped me build a narrative voice that felt grounded in the emotional reality of the event.
  2. Music Creation –For the musical foundation, I turned to Suno AI, which allowed me to create a soundtrack that matched the tone of the story. I aimed for a dramatic, cinematic sound that carried both urgency and reflection. The music became the emotional backbone of the project, supporting the themes of sacrifice and resilience.
  3. Visual Development – To create visuals that represented the soldiers’ experience, I used Gemini’s Nano Banana to generate images inspired by the historical setting. These images helped illustrate the chaos of the beaches, the harsh conditions, and the bravery of the troops. The AI‑generated visuals added depth and atmosphere to the narrative.
  4. Editing and Assembly – Finally, I used CapCut to bring all the elements together. I synchronized the lyrics, music, and images to create a cohesive and impactful video. The editing process allowed me to shape the pacing, transitions, and emotional flow, resulting in a final product that honors the soldiers’ legacy while using modern tools to tell their story.
By combining ChatGPT, Suno AI, Gemini’s Nano Banana, and CapCut, I created a focused multimedia project that captures a soldier’s perspective during D‑Day. Each tool contributed to the storytelling, helping me build a meaningful and respectful tribute to the soldiers who fought on that historic day.
