Hi Sofia, your infographic is a good way of showing how citizens play a big role in guiding the military. It’s easy to see that when people stay engaged and informed, they help shape how the armed forces act and make decisions. The visuals make the topic clear and relatable, and it’s a strong reminder that a healthy democracy depends on an active connection between the public and the military.

Hello Sofia I thought your infographic was great. Your explanation of the relationship between civic morality and civilian control of the military was excellent. It was easy to understand because of the color-coded parts and the way you arranged everything. I really liked how you combined the historical background with the relevance of these concepts now. My only notes are, I would advise adding additional photographs or making them slightly larger because some of them fade in with the backdrop. The final page has some excess white space that could be filled with an image or a brief synopsis. But all in all, this was extremely well done, quite educational, and enjoyable to read. Fantastic work!

Hello Sofia! I really liked your infographic, the color scheme worked really well together! It was very informative and detailed, I liked the little icons you used as well! It was easy to read and follow, I liked how you set it up which made it flow well! One suggestion would be to add some images like maybe an image of Alexis de Tocqueville or something to make it a little more engaging! Overall, amazing job!

    Hi Sofia

What an amazing job you did with your project! I truly love how you visually represented your principles with a great color scheme, symbols/icons, and even the organization. I believe that the way you laid out your principles in a way that tells a story ensures no one is confused and keeps readers on track. I love how easy and organized you made it for the reader to understand. Your attention to detail and thoughtful design choices made your project stand out.

Hey Sofia! Awesome job on your infographic! You did a great job communicating the message that “democracy depends on civilian control of the military and civic virtue, citizens leading with responsibility and moral integrity to keep power accountable and prevent tyranny.” I loved the title “When citizens lead, armies follow.” It really stood out and helped me understand that true power comes from the people, when ordinary citizens unite and take a stand, even powerful institutions like armies and governments are influenced to follow their lead. I like how it highlights that real change starts with the courage and leadership of the people, not just those in authority. One piece of advice I can offer is to add more visuals throughout the infographic. They can help communicate your message even more clearly, and filling in any empty spaces with images would make it feel more balanced and engaging. All in all, super cute, informative, and very well done! Great job!

Hello Sofia, great job. I liked the discussion of civic virtue and how that ties into the concept of mores as important for retaining freedom. I also liked that the layout was simple, but you got a lot of information onto it. My only suggestion would just be maybe to move the linked source in your section on the Vietnam War to your reference page. Overall really good job!

    Hi Sofia!
Great infographic! I loved your title image—it immediately caught my attention. Your title was also very engaging and got straight to the point. I really liked how you organized your information, especially how each section was color-coded to make the content easy to follow and visually appealing. I would implement more illustrations; you cover historical topics that definitely add to your infographic. Since you cover the Revolutionary War, adding illustrations to highlight it would make your infographic even more engaging and help visually support your points.

    Hi Sofia!
I really enjoyed reading your infographic! From the engaging title and charming visuals to the thoughtful analysis of citizens control over the military and their responsibility to act virtuously for the common good, your work was both informative and engaging. Highlighting the digital age as a factor influencing civic virtue was a particularly strong point, as it demonstrates how polarization not only affects us today but also shapes the civic culture of future generations. I found your reference to Truman v. McArthur especially helpful, as it clearly illustrated how legal precedent supports your principal. I also appreciated the dark and light color scheme with numbered sections, which made the layout easy to follow and visually balanced. My only suggestion would be to revisit page 1 section 4, where the Vietnam War appears under “Modern Relevance”. It might be clearer to introduce a separate title for that content or divide the section visually (perhaps with a line down the middle) so that the focus on modern relevance remains distinct. Additionally, remember that APA reference entries should be listed in alphabetical order. Overall, this was a thoughtful, well-organized, and very engaging infographic!

    Hi Sofia,

Your infographic contained an immense amount of information that helped me learn more about Civilian Control of the Military and Civic Virtue. Your title definitely captures the attention of readers. I like how you included a summary of what the principle being discussed followed with the origins and historical context, followed by how it is relevant today. I think that this makes it flow easier of what you are presenting in your infographic. If I can offer one piece of advice is right-aligning Modern Relevance on page 1 to match with page 2. Overall, your infographic was great!

Sofia, very well done here! I enjoyed your title and your cute army guy that followed. Your organization and color schemes allowed me to read this info-graph very smoothly. I like how you included the overall goal: to prevent tyranny and maintain democratic accountability, reminding us of what the actual goal we are fighting for is. I also liked how you included under modern relevance that citizens remain the ultimate authority through their elected officials. This reminds us that we, as citizens, hold the power and should only be electing people who share our greatest interest. The only thing I would fix here is the last reference page for the white space is a lot at the very end. All in all, a very informative and very well put together project!
