    Hello Carolann,

I was surprised to learn about the lunar rainbow at Victoria Falls—how during a full moon, the mist creates a moonbow that lasts all night. I had never heard of that phenomenon before, and it sounds absolutely magical.

The best part of this infographic was the way it tied Zimbabwe’s natural beauty, religion, and economic hopes together. It really helped show the different sides of the country, from tourism to faith to cultural heritage. It made me feel like Zimbabwe has a deep and layered identity beyond just Victoria Falls.

One piece of constructive feedback would be to work on polishing some of the grammar and sentence structure a bit more to make the points even stronger. The visuals and layout were very inviting and colorful, which made it enjoyable to read.

It is refreshing to see a portrayal of Zimbabwe that focuses on some of its positive aspects. All too often, due to its endemic political instability and economic problems, we rarely see any good news coming out of the country. I would genuinely like to know more about how the country has navigated its post-Mugabe political context, and whether or not its economic issues have improved in the years since he was overthrown.

I was surprised to learn about the moonbow phenomenon. This sounds like a unique and beautiful sight to see, and makes visiting Victoria Falls appealing. Opening this infographic with Victoria Falls and including a small section on why you should visit is one of the best aspects. It piqued my interest and had me hooked as I continued to read about the culture and society there. This also served as a good theme throughout the infographic, as it closed with expanding above the falls and how the pandemic impacted tourism.

This infographic is extremely good. I really was not aware of how big Victoria falls is. 5,604 is just absolutely crazy to me. I was also surprised at the steady increase in tourism in Zimbabwe up until the pandemic. I like how you utilize a bunch of reliable sources and all the facts you provided about Zimbabwe.

This is a beautiful infographic with many important takeaways! I was very surprised to learn about Zimbabwe’s Lunar Rainbow; it is such a unique phenomenon! Additionally, the discussion of Christianity in the context of the political climate in the country was very informative.
The layout of the infographic is structured in such a way that it is very easy to follow and I enjoyed the illustrations as they help grasp the topic. Excellent job!

    Hey Carollann,
Your infographic makes me want to visit Zimbabwe! I did not know that Zimbabwe’s tourism sector was growing steadily up until the pandemic. It is disheartening to see that many great nations have suffered significant economic losses due to COVID-19, particularly in the tourism sector. I loved all of the pictures you included showcasing different aspects of Zimbabwe’s culture! Amazing job!

Carollann, your infographics do an amazing job exploring social and cultural aspects of Zimbabwe. It made me want to learn more about the country, and I searched for videos about Victoria Falls, and it is just unbelievable. Additionally, your research did not stop there. I was surprised by the role of religion in the country and the active role of the church in community work.

What surprised me most about this country is that a major issue for Zimbabwe with Christianity is their political climate. How poverty and economic inequalities plays a role in the lack of support that this marginalized group can give. The best part of this infographic was the representation of Zimbabwe’s growth and development and their future plans for progress.

  • Maricela Hernandez

What surprises me is that the political climate of Zimbabwe does not allow for Christianity to be practiced, as I expected more religious freedom. The best part of this infographic was the growth and development section, since I didn’t really know much about Zimbabwe, particularly about the cultural heritage. Overall, good Job!

What surprised me the most in this infographic is how the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe is 5,604 feet. The best part of this infographic was the “Why should you visit” section, this portion makes visiting the river attractive. This section resonated with me because it gives the reader a good insight to how beautiful the country is. This infographic was very informative! I liked how the author gave a good summary of what the country is like.
