Hi Emma, I enjoyed reading about your evolution and function of CAM Plants. The incorporations of a diagram depicting the function clarifies this process. I never knew Vanilla Orchids and Isoetes use the Crassulacean Acid Metabolism. I also enjoyed the visuals in terms of the evolution of this function. It makes the infographic more appealing to readers and read more about the facts presented on the side.

Great infographic. I really enjoyed the pictures and the overall aesthetic of your infographic was very appealing. I am not well versed in biology or this topic so the pictures really made it easy to follow and it made the information very digestible. Your infographic satisfied my curiosity of why cacti and other succulents area able to survive in the desert.

Emma, I remember learning this reaction in Gen Bio, so this infographic made me recall a lot of information I had stored away since then. I really like this because it makes it easier to understand the reaction rather than read about it in a textbook. I love how you included some examples of CAM plants, which gives the reader an opportunity to relate this mechanism to real life.

Hello, It’s always cool to learn more about a topic you’ve never ran into or maybe haven’t reviewed in a while with fresh eyes. I fall into the latter group, since I haven’t reviewed CAM plants in a while, but this infographic did a great job at refreshing my memory while also giving me some awesome info I didn’t know about it before, such as the fact that CAM evolves independently in plants that live in regions low in moisture or CO2.

I enjoyed reading this publication as it was interesting to me since I have always wanted to start caring for plants. This infographic is visually appealing with a creative color design that brings a sense of nature. I appreciate the clear structure and pictures used to make the four phases understandable. The “Evolution” section was also fun to read and find out new statistics!

The Infographic presented was very appealing visually. The images created like the Zebra Hawthoria and the Vanilla Orchard were beautifully detailed. The colors selected for the images was very realistic. I am a plant lover and enjoy each of your hand drawings. The flow of the timeline was helpful understanding the Evolution and Functions categories. This infographic was well planned and thoughtful to the reader.

Good Evening Emma, while analyzing your infographic a couple of things caught my eye. I really enjoyed the way your used your symbols in this project. Most of the infographics I have seen don’t use as many symbols and in such a big way. It really stands out and makes it easier to not do as much reading as you would have to do In other projects.

Obviously the first thing that caught my eye was the title, I had never learned about CAM plants. As someone that doesn’t know anything about this topic it was made very easy and simple to read and understand while still pointing out very key information. I liked the use of images in this infographic as it provides both great information and makes it easier for the reader to understand. I definitely think that staring out with the functions is a very good idea especially for people that have no clue what CAM plants are. Overall I believe that everything was very well explained and organized which really helped me learn more on the topic.

This infographic is really good, I’m more of a visual learner and thanks to the beautifully done drawings, I was able to follow everything that was being said. The drawings really helped me understand what you were trying to say. The drawings that were made to show the CAM phases were some of my favorite images, I did not know that the plant has two different “modes”. At night the stomata opens so that they can conserve the water. And on the day time the stomata is still open which allows it to take in the CO2 from the atmosphere. Overall this was really informative and the drawings were really nice.
