Hey Aracely, your article was really interesting because it shows the timeline of how COVID 19 got to be a pandemic and what effects it has had so far on our population. Your article gives a voice to the victims of this disease who have lost loved ones so tragically. I like that your article makes the reader reflect on whether or not going out is worth it to lose a loved one because many people to this day don’t understand the gravity of this disease.

This article brought to light the effect Covid has had on the whole world and shed some light on the virus itself. I hope we find a vaccine soon because this pandemic seems never ending. The fact that some people genuinely believe that it is a hoax astounds me and worries me. Do you think a vaccine will end the quarantining and social distancing quickly. or do you think it will take a few months?

Many of the statistical facts in this article were shocking, such as the unemployment rate being higher than in 1929 during the great depression. It’s true that the United States has dealt with possibly dangerous viruses before, but I think we took for granted the governments response at that time. The impact this virus has had, On economy, on health, on every day life, sets another historical precedent which will hopefully be called upon in the future.

This was such an interesting article to read! I really hope a vaccine will be introduced soon. The pandemic has significantly changed everybody’s lives. The article did a good job illustrating the timeline of the virus and the effect it has made on our world. I appreciate how this article reminded us that the death toll numbers are not only numbers, but lives lost. Overall, this was a very well-written article. Great job!

While reading this article my heart broke learning about Sandy Brown’s story of losing her husband and son. I think Aracely gave great information about COVID-19 and how it affects us all differently. I liked the fact that asymptomatic carriers were brought up in the article because it’s important to know that even though they won’t get sick or show symptoms there is still a chance that they are carrying the virus with them without realizing it.

This article does a great job of highlighting the harsh stories and realties that hundreds of families across the country have had to experience during the pandemic. Far beyond the loss of life, the article shines a light on the selfishness that was presented by the public when news broke of the pandemic leading to a ‘lockdown’. It is very important to remind ourselves of this moment of time where a significant portion of communities did not display the patriotism and values that we often characterize ourselves with.

It is crazy that we are living through a pandemic and it only seems to be getting worse. It has changed everyone’s life forever. I think it is crazy that people still believe it is a hoax. How can it be a hoax when many people have died due to this virus. It is so sad. The statistical facts are unbelievable. Great job on the article!

I think everyone has been affected differently by covid-19, it was heartbreaking to read about Brown’s story, and can’t imagine what it would feel like to lose two of the most important people in my life so fast. The statistics in this article were shocking, the unemployment rate especially. I think this particular example puts the whole pandemic into perspective and how there are people that take it lightly when it is not. This pandemic has affected the world so suddenly and strongly, and this article proves how important it is to take care of ourselves and others during this time.

This article did a great job at explaining the origins and effects Covid has had on our lives since 2020. I remember when I was told it was just going to be just 2 weeks and then we get to go back to normal, it’s hard to imagine that was two years ago. Luckily though things have started to get back to normal and hopefully permanently back to normal until the next disease comes around. Anyways, very good article.

This virus has changed the world completely and turned it upsidedown. It has forced everyone to rethink their life, businesses and how they will continue to live safely. It is everyone’s responsibility to do their part to be safe for themselves and the health of others. Everyone’s life has been impacted in different ways and it is important to evaluate the choices we are making and how they affect others.
