I think the way this infographic is structured and flows was executed wonderfully in providing the audience with an overview of who Henry B. Gonzalez was. Having the detail of a highway going from the top to the bottom and how it winds with the left text prompt to then the right prompt on your infographic is not only visually nice, but helps the audience follow along as people read from left to right and top to bottom. I think it also symbolizes the journey and accomplishments that he made throughout his life, almost as if we the audience are driving on this road, taking a tour of on the overview of his life.

This infographic does a fantastic job of highlighting the life and impact of Henry B. González in a way that is both engaging and informative. Before seeing this, I had little knowledge of who he was, but learning about his dedication, particularly his 36-hour protest, was incredibly inspiring. His role as the first Mexican American elected to the Texas State Senate and his contributions to San Antonio, including bringing a world’s fair to the city, demonstrate his lasting influence. I also appreciate how this infographic connects his story to our community. The inclusion of images, such as the plaque honoring him, adds depth and meaning to his legacy. This was an eye-opening and well-presented visual representation of a remarkable leader. Awesome job!

I have never heard of Henry B. Gonzalez before taking a look at this infographic but this is a great introduction to this amazing and impactful person. With the image of a road it shows the journey that Henry took and the many different turns along the way. I like the colors they remind me of traditional American school buses and I have perceived the use of the colors and a road as the learning journey either that Henry took or that the audience will take in learning about Henry and his role in civil activism.

Henry B. Gonzalez is a truly remarkable man who dedicated his life to serving his country. Being re-elected 17 times, which is no easy task, and standing in protest for 36 hours is also truly impressive, showing how committed he was to serving his country no matter how tough things got.

The structure of this infographic was perfect for the way you described Congressman Gonzalez’s journey. Not only is it impressive that he set a record at 36 hours filibustering. I did not know he was the first Mexican-American Texas Senator.

I love the details you provided on Henry B. Gonzalez and the contributions that he made. I can certainly say that I did not know who he was until today. Knowing that he was part of the St. Mary’s Community as a student makes me feel that it is just in the college to provide excellent education and diligence in his work. I love that you offered the image of the plaque of who he was and what he did. As Henry served the community and became the first Mexican American elected to the State Senate, knowing the background and story that led him to be a great role model for the entire country as he delivered his service was fundamental. The most significant contribution Henry made was one that impacted the city of San Antonio, where he decided to develop and bring a world’s fair to downtown San Antonio. From that, tourism increased in San Antonio. All the enforcement and execution led by Henry led to the successful accomplishments reigning forever in San Antonio and throughout the country.

Thank her for providing detail in an engaging and eye-catching way. I appreciate how this information was relevant to the community we are in, as most of us are Hispanic and we go to school in San Antonio.
