I have learned that Gus Garcia was an important character in the fight against racial injustices in United States. As a Hispanic, he made sure that the needs of the Hispanic population were heard by the Supreme Court. I think what makes this infographic powerful is the great use of sources. It has a necessary amount and specific information that makes it able for the viewer to understand the topic quickly. Also, the images and drawings, like arrows, are well balanced and it helps the viewer to have a smooth reading. What really caught my eye was the distribution, it was smart because the first page is an introduction for the topic with short but intriguing phrases that invites you to read more.

I want to start by saying how amazing this infographic is, the hook “The Man Who…” caught my attention and made me want to continue reading. The way this infographic is designed is great I loved the colors, images, and the information awesome. The information is short and useful. I wasn’t aware who Gus Garcia was. Now I’ve learned who Gus Garcia is and how he fought against Racial Injustices, Served his country, Stood in one of the highest court of the land, Aided in International Latino diplomacy, and Unified the Mexican American movement.

I love this Infographic. I gained more insight into Gus Garcia and what he did to end segregationist laws. As the First Amendment states in our Bill of Rights, “Congress shall not abridge the freedom of speech.” This gives people to understand that though the Bill of Rights was stated, written, and widely known, many did not implement it in reality and many people suffered from segregationist laws. I love the background and icons you all used. This was one of the cases that allowed me to see the impact that Hispanics now serve today and will continue to do for the common good for justice and service in leadership.

Thoroughly informative infographic, I now know who else to thank for the desegragation of Texas! He has the same last name as my Mom’s family which serves as a sort of special connection to him. We can all strive to be like Gus Garcia. Good infographic, I know exactly who he is, what he did, and how his work stands today!

I had not heard of Gus Garcia until now, and this infographic did a great job of showing how he not only fought for change, but also how drastically he changed the future rights of Latinos living in the U.S. toady.

Thank you for sharing information on an individual who many of the Pre-Law students would take interest in. The community in which we reside is extremely passionate about racial injustice as the majority of us are Latino. Gus Garcias story is one of the many stories that could encourage us to follow through with our dream career and continue to advocate for a community.

I think this infographic is visually pleasing as the background has a neutral color but you can still see faint images in the back. The information is structured nicely creating an easy read. I was unaware of Gus Garcia’s contributions, but appreciate how you highlight his story. Garcia contributed greatly towards ending racial injustices and his name deserves to live on.
