  • Very informative! I loved how you included statistics and a real, recent and relevant example. We are often not aware of the way marketing deceits us into believing something that is not true, and bringing attention to this issue is very important. Moreover, I loved you color pallet and how it stayed consistent! And the way you not only used images but played with the text size and format makes your work really stand out.

Hi Sara! I love your infographic on a visual level so much! The color palette is not only eye-catching but also very on par with your chosen topic. Additionally, I loved how much I learned as I read through your infographic. I personally had no idea about the Burt’s Bees controversy and believed them to be a natural company! If I could offer any advice, it would be to change the percentage from 18% to 82% and focus on the amount of false advertising as the 18% truth does not make the same impact especially for those who are just glancing at the infographic.

Wonderful infographic! I was aware of the Burt bees controversy and how it brought light to other cosmetic companies who use greenwashing in their product for marketing

Great infographic filled with details! You did a great job.

In this infographic, the use of color really catches my attention. I imagine that its author wanted to create such a strong visual impact so that his message would not go unnoticed. If so, she has achieved it.
The issue of misinformation in the cosmetics industry is a delicate issue with serious implications for our health. Companies that engage in these types of practices not only deceive the system by lying about the content of their products, but also undermine our trust.

Great informative infographic! It is extremely detailed and interesting as well. It is sad to know that brands can go to this extreme and lie to their clients just for business, however, they could be harming them or their pets. Thank you for raising awareness on this. I think it is crucial for people to be more careful about what they buy and what they are being told about products. Congratulations on getting nominated!

Really interesting work and the details in this article are. cosmetics have never really caught my attention, but it is crazy how many brands tend to claim their products are 99% natural when they’re not. I like how you included some of the ingredients that are not natural and why are they not. I also like how you included, at the end, the percentage of some companies that admitted they were wrong and all the information you had established.

  • Deven Garcia

This infographic is exceptionally informative. The minimalist color scheme and visual design elements complement the topic perfectly, adding a touch of sophistication. The layout of the information is well-organized, making it easy to follow. The clarity and astonishing nature of the facts presented leave a lasting impression. Considerable creativity went into crafting such a refined product. Job well done!

Hi, Sara! I loved this infographic and I like how straightforward it is and I like the structuring of the infographic. Burt’s Bees took me by surprise because they do claim to use natural ingredients but they don’t. I do appreciate you explaining what greenwashing is, because I have never heard of it before! I also liked the statistics you used. Overall, awesome job!

This Infograph was not only very eye catching but also very informative. I feel as though many people need to see this since not only does it provide very eye opening information but is also very easy to understand. What took me for a surprise was seeing a brand that i use especially for my dog is actually very harmful for them even though the bottle said it was safe. Thank you got shining light in the topic of cosmetics and enlightening us as the reader of the harm and dangers.
