I did not know that the amount of water to produce just one cotton T-shirt was 2,700 liters of water. This is incredible because my favorite shirts are cotton! My question would be if this is across the entire fashion industry or are these the problems caused by any specific company? I agree, that I throw out lots of clothes annually.

The use of color and images to illustrate the topic was impressive, and it effectively educated readers on a relevant issue of our time. As we learn and see more, we can work together to improve, and this infographic serves as a great example. Kudos on a well-formatted and informative piece!

This infographic was so well displayed. I felt as though I have always heard about fast fashion but never really understood the depth of it. I think the solutions you had were so useful especially since nowadays so many people are thrifting clothes, if we encourage everyone to do so then we can be on the right track for a more sustainable option for the planet. What a great topic to elaborate on and I am impressed with al of the design coming together in a great way.

Great infographic! It’s amazing to see how we use our resources. I found this infographic to be informative and helpful to educate those unaware. Many people choose to hop on a trend without seeing how it affects everybody overall. The background and overall theme are neat and well presented.

Great job on your infographic! I love this infographic from the title to the design and the message. Fast fashion is incredibly hurtful to the environment and it is something that is hard not to fall into being victim of because of the affordability of trendy and pretty clothes. Clothing that is sustainable and ecofriendly should be more accessible. Nice job!

This infographic about how fashion industry has a massive impact on our planet was very interesting, as highlighted in the article with a great title that explains the industry’s destructive nature. The constant trend cycles and our need for new things hurt the environment by taking from what already gives. It’s saddening but also motivating to read this publication, as it calls for awareness and change. Learning that it takes 2,700 liters of water to produce one cotton T-shirt was eye-opening. I really wonder if this applies to the entire industry or specific companies?

Hello! Congratulations on the nomination! I think the topic of fast fashion is a great topic that is extremely applicable to the latest trends in our society. Companies such as Shein is very popular amongst our society, yet is another way we are all contributing to the ecological crisis. I also think the mentioning of educating the people around you goes a long way. Influencing, especially on social media, has been an effective way to get across powerful ideas. Great job!

I’m glad to see that the issues surrounding fast fashion are being brought to light. Unfortunately, whether due to inflation or in general, sustainable fabrics tend to be more expensive than fast fashion. So as long as we don’t find a way to make sustainable garments more affordable, we will unfortunately continue to see a rise in fast fashion. Although it is already becoming unpopular, which is a step forward. Congratulations on a great infographic!
