  • This infographic does a great job of breaking down the concept of sexist slurs, specifically focusing on the word “slut.” I appreciate how the author lays out the definition, historical context, and the underlying reasons for their existence in our language. Highlighting the negative impact and the way these slurs reinforce societal hierarchies is also quite effective. The inclusion of a graph showing the usage trends of “slut” adds an interesting visual dimension to the discussion.

This is a crucial topic; women face numerous challenges, and this is one of them. I am so happy to find an article that speaks about it, because not only is it harmful to women, it is harmful to society, creating a divide among our people. I love how you explained it, and it captures many of the struggles women face.

I really love how you chose to write about this topic! You captured so well the reality that so many women constantly face — being called slurs and being treated as if it’s somehow normal or acceptable. I also thought you explained the idea of the hierarchy really clearly, especially how women are often pushed to the very bottom of it. It’s frustrating how these patterns keep repeating, but it’s powerful to see people like you bringing attention to it. Your writing really made me stop and reflect. Thank you for sharing this!
