My music video focuses on the Prohibition Era and how, by the end, President Franklin D. Roosevelt oversaw the passage of the 21st Amendment, which repealed the 18th Amendment, resulting in the legalization of selling, manufacturing, and transporting alcohol in the United States again. This video also touches on the rise of gang violence that was taking place, specifically in Chicago during this time. Through the utilization of AI tools, I was able to create a detailed and historically accurate portrayal of the Prohibition Era’s challenges.
  1. Script Development: Using ChatGPT, I was able to create lyrics that blended well with my historical topic on the Prohibition Era. After some minor adjustments, I was able to get lyrics that fit well with my topic and the flow that I was looking for.
  2. Audio and Music Selection: Once I was happy with the lyrics, I used Suno AI to bring the lyrics and instrumentals to life. This took 2 attempts before I was happy with the way that the jazz music sounded with the main vocals and the background vocals as well.
  3. Visual and Character Creations: To create the visuals that add more character and feeling to my music video, I used Gemini to create my historically accurate images. Some pictures were a little trickier to do compared to others, so it took a few attempts to get the desired images.
  4. Editing and Assembling: Finally, I was able to combine everything using Cute Cut, arranging my images to my liking while also creating most of the transitions from scratch.
By combining these AI tools – ChatGPT, Suno AI V3, and Gemini – I was able to create a truly breathtaking video that really captures the uneasy emotions that people were feeling during the Prohibition Era while also dealing with a rise in gang violence but were eventually overcome with relief when President Franklin D. Roosevelt passed the 21st amendment.
