I liked the content of the infographic but there’s a lot going on it hurts my eyes to look at. I think there’s too much for me to look at that I can’t focus. Less is better in this case but the idea was a nice thought. I can tell a lot of hard work was put into making the infographic and that’s all that matters.
This infographic had so many great statistics that I feel young students as well as adults should know about. The fact that some issues concerning voting are not having transportation to get to the polling sites or trying to find time off from work to be able to vote. These barriers are overlooked by the majority because it does not concern them, as a citizen who stands for freedom and equality for all, these issues should be addressed in order to uphold American values.
This color scheme is not ideal in my opinion, at least with respect to the first page. There are too many bright colors, and because everything is either red, white, or blue, there is not enough noticeable contrast in the fonts that make it visually appealing. As for content, I would work on conveying the message of the infographic. While I am made aware of barriers to voting, and am given many statistics in voting trends, why is it significant to readers? Are you encouraging them to vote or simply presenting facts?
I think this really encapsulates how important it is for our generation to go out and vote so that we can achieve goals that we want. This infographic really grabs my attention. The barriers to voting is such a sad part, but I’m glad it hasn’t completely stopped our generation from going out to vote.
Hello all! I very much enjoyed the red, white, and blue themed that was present throughout your infographic. Right off the bat I noticed some statistics that align with my previous experiences as a young voter. A couple of these being the need to request time off and dealing with the lengthy lines can definitely deter me as well as many others from voting. Being a working college student is already a lot to juggle but trying to stay politically involved can be hard to navigate at such a young age. I hope that your infographic is able to also reach more mature voters and is able to educate them on the struggles that so many of us young voters face. Thank you for creating such an important infographic, good job!
The infographic was very nice to look at, but it was slightly hard to read the information because there was too much going on. The information itself was good. There was not too much and not too little. The color scheme was perfect for the subject matter. The only thing that wasn’t perfect was it was a little crowded and too much visually, but great job!
Hello, This was a very cool and unique infographic. The template you chose really matched with the topic of voting very well. The use of images was right on point and the amount of text here was just perfect. In my opinion, I feel like if you would’ve implemented more text to this infographic, reader would have gotten pretty lost. Something I would have done differently would have been splitting the first page into two pages so it doesn’t look a little too cramped. Great job!
The younger generation is too often criticized for their role in degrading society by older generations, but It looks more and more like we are simply engaging and changing something we stand against. The youth top issues are the most heated debates in politics right now because our generation has the energy and hope to stand for the world they want. The biggest barrier being 52% needing to request time off is a harsh reality, that half of this generation of voters may lose their voice because of a lack of accommodations.
Great Infographic the theme really does pop out and almost screams the information of youth voting. The pie chart was a nice touch as well as the bar chart I think they to do a lot to help people understand the amount of youth voters and that there is a need for a lot more people to come out and participate on poll days. I think the only thing that could be worked on is a lot more is a call to action what should youth voters who are are already voting do? should they push for advocacy like this poster has done? Other than that great job the work is amazing
Really enjoyed this infographic the information was so easy to understand and read. Especially when including percentages and still including graphs of those percentages. There is is much advocacy to get younger generations to vote and I believe they are the ones who get the most backlash when it comes to not voting. Older generations make it seem like the youth has it extremely easy but do not realize the barriers that are being put and restrictions that are preventing the youth to vote. Overall great topic and great work.
