I really enjoyed this infographic even though it scared me immensely. I think as young adults and adults we often forget the dangers associated with long term use of social media sites, so i greatly appreciate you for making this infographic because it allows us to truly see how dangerous excessive use of social media can be. I think as citizens we must all strive to use social media less, because often times it does more harm than good, and you can never really replace the value of in person interaction.

Awesome topic of choice! I did know that social media has become the daily thing in present and future generations. I love how you identified the causes and effects from being on social media for long periods of time. Not only effects many interaction skills but effecting their social stability awareness. Having a huge impact on the brains development.

This was a very well-put-together infographic both visually and information-wise. It seems as if the seriousness of excessive social media use isn’t as talked about as it should be considering the severe mental health effects it has especially among younger age groups but I’m glad this article brought them to light.

This infographic on social media addiction and particularly its impact on young children and teens is insightful and also visually appealing. It provides statistics that shed light on the seriousness of the issue of social media attention and highlights its potential dangers. The section that offers a resource to call for help is especially important and helpful, as it offers a solution for those who may be struggling with addiction to social media and do not know who to turn to. It is also an excellent resource for parents and educators concerned about the impact of social media on young people and provides them with potential ways to help.

Congratulations on your nomination. I like how it talks about a real-world problem that’s happening today, especially with the younger generations. I was surprised to find out the 2.5 hours is the average screen time since I thought it would be more. I liked how you incorporated all the social media icons, which make it more relatable to multiple people.

Unbelievably, it’s a lot of time to spend on social media which is 6 times more than the recommended time of using social media. Otherwise, it could result in Depression. It’s very sad but we are compelled to use social media early in the morning which is not good at all.

I think this infographic did a great job in allowing the viewers eyes to follow naturally as the story is being told and starting with the “did you know” section which allows viewers to know the topic that is being discussed, the severity of it and what is going on and happening in the world now through the statistics provided. Overall this is an amazing infographic and it grabbed my attention.

I would consider this infographic to be very timely. There is so much research coming out about social media usage and its effects on mental health, especially of the younger demographics. This infographic gives great information, especially since so many people probably use social media more than they realize, so it’s good to see what somewhat addicted and addicted looks like in terms of screen usage.

I believe that both young adults and adults frequently overlook the risks connected to prolonged use of social media platforms, thus I greatly appreciate that you created this infographic in order to show us just how risky excessive use of social media can be. The wisest course of action was to stop using social media. Given the significant effects it has on mental health, particularly in younger age groups, it seems that excessive social media use isn’t discussed as much as it should be.
