The Nutritional Impact of a Japanese Breakfast

I would like to thank Dr. Lori Boies as well as my classmates for their assistance in constructing this infographic to be a professional and finished product. I am also very appreciative of the support and constructive criticism I received from my family during the process of compiling my research as I feel it greatly improved my final infographic.

My name is Natalia :) I grew up in San Antonio, Texas. I did my first college semester out of state and fortunately had the opportunity to transfer to St. Mary's University spring 2025. I am currently pursuing a degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a minor is Sports Management. I do plan on operating my own business in the future, but for now I will continue focusing on my education, playing collegiate volleyball and coaching youth club volleyball. I am very passionate about health and wellness, so I am happy to be in a program that expands my knowledge of sports science. I also have two cats, two dogs, and some plants to take care of at home.

    Hello Natalia,
This is amazing. I had never really thought of what a traditional Japanese breakfast would look like. I think it is amazing to publish and show people what exactly goes into preparing a nutritious and balanced breakfast, contrary to an American breakfast. I really appreciate you adding numerous pictures. WONDERFUL JOB!

Hi Natalia! Your article caught my eye because I never actually thought about what a Japanese breakfast might look like. The only things I were able to guess were fish, seaweed, and rice. Additionally, the way you broke down the health benefits of the different foods was really amazing! Some of these nutrients are things I had never heard of before, truthfully.

I was really impressed with your infographic because I used to live in Japan and your infographic reminded me of Japanese breakfast that I used to eat every morning. In addition, I could notice how Japanese breakfast provide Japanese with valuable nutrients. My article focused on poverty in India, and I also experienced Indian food, so I realized how each region has different food cultures.

Hello Natalia! Your title immediately caught my eye, and the infographic itself was just as interesting to read. It is fascinating to learn that Japanese breakfasts often include supplements to ensure proper nourishment. Your catchy graphics make the information very easy to digest. It is impressive to see how this approach is much healthier than the traditional American breakfast. Great job!
